MAIRANGI  COMBINED  PROBUS is a social club for semi/retirees, -  its meetings are well attended, friendly and informal with morning tea provided,  Guest speakers are well chosen, informative and entertaining and monthly coffee groups, luncheons and regular outings, frequently by charter bus, are well planned. The current membership is 88 and is capped at 90; after that, there is a waiting list.  Guests are mostwelcome to attend a meeting to see how dynamic and friendly the club is before applying for membership.

The Club meets at the Mairangi Presbyterian Church Hall in Penzance Rd on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 10 am

Probus Clubs are not fundraisers, but on application, can be the recipients of a yearly grant from the Community Lottery Commission to enable a charter bus for selected outings and destinations.

We have many highlights  - our Christmas lunch at McHugh’s of Cheltenham is the most recent -  the yearly visit to Ryders Boutique Cinema in Avondale for a scrumptious roast dinner after the movie is an absolute favourite. Coming up is a visit to the Stardome. There is always something on the horizon.
