Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesavng Club held its annual Senior Club Prizegiving on the 2nd of June 2023, where they celebrated another season between the flags.

This past season was full of challenges and unforeseen weather events, which our team took on board and implemented in their daily lifesaving patrols in a mature and professional manner. The club is grateful for all the volunteers who contributed their time in helping keep people safe for another season.

A huge thank you to Takapuna Cricket Club for the use of its facilities to host the event. Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club certainly had a fair amount to celebrate and be proud of, with its members achieving some awesome results and stats from the 2022/2023 season. Mairangi Bay Surf Life Saving Club patrolled a total of 5,665.5 hours and supplied 21 first aid treatment, five Callouts, two searches and took 558 preventative actions involving 2139 Members of the Public and was involved in 82 Rescues. On top of that, Mairangi Bay SLSC also managed to qualify 53 new lifeguards.

2023/2024 season registrations will open in August 2023. For more information, please contact admin@mairangibayslsc.
